I've been a patient and customer of Dr. Zalduendo for 14 years and overall I've been happy with the level of service I've received during that time. Additionally, I've always paid for the doctor for her services in full and when the work was completed prior to me leaving her office. I have never once asked for them to bill me. This week however, when I came for a visit, I realized when I arrived that I had forgotten to bring my credit card along. I explained this to the attendants at the front desk and was told that I would need to go home and bring the card back prior to the doctor seeing me. I asked if I could call them as soon as I returned home after my visit and give them my card number for billing then. However, I was told by the front desk that would not work and that I would need to go home and get my credit card for payment now or the doctor would not see me. I found this unacceptable and asked them to personally ask Dr. Zalduendo about this. They agreed ask her and soon returned to inform me that Dr. Zalduendo insisted that I would have to go home and retrieve the card or she would not see me. Now after 14 years as a patient, I felt I had earned some level of respect and that I could be trusted to do the right thing. It didnt happen so therefore I will no longer require the services of Dr. Zalduendo and her staff. Good riddance!
