During my initial visit with Dr. Kittle she informed me that I had three cavities which very much surprised me as I had no pain or indication of trouble. Nonetheless on 9-18-2006 I went ahead with the procedure. She found it very difficult to drill and used different bits. I almost got up and left during the drilling. Whenever I would bite down one of the fillings caused me a lot of pain. I was told that the filling could be trimmed, but I declined. It bothered me to chew on that side of the mouth for over 6 months. I believe there were no cavities and the procedure was unnecessary. Each filling cost $167 for tooths 1, 4 & 13. I had my x-rays transferred to Dr. Jay Hollander who told me he didn't see any cavities.
