I came to Doctor Iofin with a serious problem: a painful infection developed under my tooth due to improper treatment by another dentist. As a result, surgery was required. After consultation with several other doctors, I was fortunate to come to Dr. Iofin, who impressed me with his professionalism, detailed care and knowledge of advanced technology. Dr. Iofin gave me hope in spite of the fact that other doctors were not that optimistic regarding the possible outcome of the surgery.
I did not know what to expect from the surgery but Dr. Iofin took time to explain the process and was very attentive during the surgery. He asked me how I felt and made small talk during the surgery, which put me at ease. He was professional and gentle, which helped me to feel that I was in the hands of someone I can trust.
After the surgery Dr. Iofin took time to answer my questions and made sure I was ok. I had several follow-up visits after the surgery and he took great care of me.
A few words about advanced technology in the office: on my first consultation, the doctor made a 3D image of my tooth, which was impressive. Nobody had ever offered a 3D image before! It helped me to see more clearly what was going on inside of my tooth. The doctor took his time explaining the image and answering all my questions. On my last appointment the doctor made a regular X-ray. But it was such a clear image! It was a better quality than other doctors made before.
I also would like to mention that I appreciated the great selection of classical music in the office. Since the classical music is a big part of my life, this little detail made a difference for me while I was waiting for the surgery and my last appointment.
My last words are about the phenomenal results of the healing. It has been now more than 8 months since the surgery. The healthy bone is growing and I am so glad that I came to Dr. Iofin with my very problematic tooth. There is always a hope if you are in the right hands!
