Well, I went to Dr. Zicarelli today after a 5 month issue with a tooth that had started out as just a cavity and turned into an abscessed root canal. Stubbornly, I kept going to my regular dentist when I really should have come to Dr. Zicarelli first. By far the best experience I've ever had with any health professional in NYC in 15 years! He actually listened to me. He also found another root canal that had gone bad and infected and cleaned that out as well. Will definitely be going to him from now on, if you need root canal treatment, don't mess around with a regular dentist! Also worth mentioning, I have extremely bad dental anxiety, him and his assistant were very sensitive to that and I felt zero pain. Very happy and worth the price tag.
