To clarify my review above, I think Dr. Smith is great! He knows his business and keeps up-to-date on his craft. As to the cost- my insurance co says that his costs exceed customary. I do think they are little high. As for customer svc- they are all very attentive. The only problem I am having is with the billing department. I requested that my gen dentist receive an email stating that the tooth was retreated and explain why (the gen dentist shouldn't have attempted this root canal) however I have been unable to get the email sent. When I called they said they printed and faxed it and my gen dentist said they still didn't get it. I asked that it be emailed to me and I didn't get it either. I am frustrated with having to call so many times to get this info. That is only front office issues not with Dr. Smith himself his customer svs is great. Treatment success- this is NOT b/c of Dr. Smith but because of my tooth. He explained thoroughly that there was a chance that what we were doing may not work and I believe that may be the case here. He also explained that it is worth the effort to see b/c extraction should be the last and extreme option. We will see what happens but as of now not a success it is infected.
