Dr. Handa (currently at West Newton Dental) has proven herself to be an incredibly patient, smart, and intuitive dentist over the past year that I have been seeing her for my TMJ problems. She gave me a very thorough oral exam and listened intently to my concerns. She has persevered with me through many bouts of acute pain, squeezing me into her busy schedule many times. She has a very gentle way about her; I could listen to her voice all day! Dr. Handa is by no means money hungry, either; she has put a hold on procedures that I had scheduled when she thought that it wasn't in my best interest to proceed with treatment at that time.I trust her completely; because my case has become more complicated she has even offered to refer me to another dentist. I know two others whose TMJ was she was able to cure, so I know that I'm just a really difficult patient - the 1% that she hasn't cured yet. My time will come. I should also mention that the front desk staff are awesome. They are kindness and understanding have made a difficult year much more tolerable.
