I have been a patient of Dr. Crowe for probably close to 10 years. During that time I have had regular checkups. I have had a couple of old fillings replaced. He referred me to an excellent endodontist for a root canal. He recently replaced the crown from that root canal and I am very pleased with it.
Procedures have all been pretty much pain-free, and he is sensitive and ready to help if unexpected pain develops. Cost is good - he has participated in a the dental plans I have had, and billing has been easy. He had a hygienist who was quite good, but she left over the last year. My most recent cleaning with the new hygienist was pleasant, although she only polished my top teeth - I had to remind her to do the bottoms. But her cleaning seemed thorough.
The front desk is friendly enough, although not overly so - they aren't too forthcoming with information, so you can't be afraid to ask the stupid questions for things that are obvious to them but not necessarily to you (until you've been going awhile.
I would rate Dr. Crowe higher, but his demeanor does not inspire confidence, and leaves me wondering if there isn't a better dentist available. But he is very nice, and has done good work so far.
