To wear braces the first time it is expected that it will cause pain, however the amount of pain that was inflicted to my gums and mouth was extreme which caused me much distress.
There was continual pain that would not be removed both in my gums and in regular headaches, Dr. Xu claimed that after taking painkillers the pain would decline however there were no such effects which makes me wonder whether the procedure of the braces being applied were correct. I ended up having to book with an alternative orthodontists to have the braces removed as the previous hospital would not accommodate my demands which I found quite shocking.
