I had a non-impacted wisdom tooth removed and he essentially used an ice pick to pry it out of my mouth. He left my gums looking like they went through a meat grinder and at one point I believe he jammed the "icepick" too far in and into my jawbone. I've had two other wisdom teeth pulled and have never seen or heard of it being done this way. The pain I am still in days later is excruciating even with the help of prescription narcotics.
