Dr. Griffin has been my family's dentist for seven years. His manner is friendly and he seems very knowledgable about dental procedures. One of my sons got braces and everything came out very well. Costs are average, and the office staff is very helpful with questions and insurance problems. In a routine cleaning/checkup visit, almost all of the interaction is with the dental hygienist (friendly and efficient), with the dentist coming in for only a couple of minutes to review xrays and take a brief look in your mouth. In the last year his practice has grown enough to add another dentist, and the front desk is scheduling five months ahead for after-school appointments. There is a policy of not switching back and forth between the two dentists for convenience of scheduling. The front desk explains that this is for continuity of care (always seeing the same dentist), but within such a small office it shouldn't be a problem for the dentists to coordinate care. It is as though there are two separate dental offices in one small space. For the first time in years, I am considering switching dentists.
