I just had the most horrifying experience at Dr. Farley's office today! I have been a patient of his for about 2 years. Today I went in for a routine cleaning. The hygenist noticed I had gotten a crown since my last visit. She proceeded to tell me that they would no longer treat me because I got a crown somewhere else. She said, and I quote, "It's like a slap in the face." I was shocked. I told her that I had been quoted around $900 for a crown from them and that's after my insurance pays. I simply did not have that kind of money. She went to talk with Dr. Farley to verify and when she came back she took off my bib and dismissed me. I was dumbfounded. I was kicked out of the dentist office! At this other place I got my crown in one visit because they had the machine that makes the crown. It ended up costing me $375 out of pocket after insurance paid. What would you choose?
