My 11 year old is currently being treated by Dr. Starling. Palette expander, upper braces, retainer and now a full set of braces. We have always had a good experience. My daughter has had some discomfort with various parts of treatment but they have been mild and manageable. This has not been the result of anything the staff or doctor did or did not do. When she had to have a palette expander put in for the second time, it was included it the amount already paid for full treatment, even though it was not a foreseeable need at the time. My 9 year old will need treatment next and I am very comfortable continuing to receive both my girls' treatments from Dr. Starling. He is personable and straightforward. If my child is not cleaning her teeth well enough, he gently reminds her what the consequences could be after the braces are removed. The front desk staff even printed pictures of poor hygiene with braces for me to hang up in the bathroom at home as a visual reminder to her of how important cleaning teeth with braces is when they come off!

About Front Desk: The staff has been helpful with payment and insurance related matters, flexible in scheduling and professional and courteous in demeanor. The waiting room is comfortable with video games for the younger ones, TV and magazines for the parents, as well as bottled water and coffee for anyone. They put games on the front desk and draw a winner from the correct answers. My daughters both love doing these! I love that they will communicate by phone, email or fax. They accommodate my personal communication preference. They have a Facebook page.
