I had my first root canal done by Dr. Kong on Oct. 20, 2016. I was very nervous and scared because I hate having dental work done! Dr. Kong was so nice and patient and explained to me what he'd be doing and what to expect. He had to give me the shots without a numbing agent first due to the nature of the procedure, and it hardly hurt at all. The procedure itself was painless and very quick, it was done in a half-hour. When it was over I felt so relieved and happy that it had been such a good experience! I highly recommend Dr. Kong and will probably be getting another root canal done by him soon. The other reviewer on here that says it was a horrible experience has never been a patient of Dr. Kong's, according to the University Park Endodontics FB page, so don't let that false review dissuade you. Dr. Kong does a great job!
