What I like most about her is that she takes a preventative approach. For instance, I expressed concern about a filling that is getting old. Most dentists, looking for a dollar, would have recommended re-doing the filling. Dr Ko said, "Well, it is getting old but any time you remove old filling, you also remove more of the tooth. Keep an eye on it, keep it clean and you should be okay for awhile. We will eventually have to re-do it, but by all means, we should wait until it is absolutely necessary." To me, that shows that she is a dentist who truly concerned about her patients more than her pocketbook.
