Dr. Bressack impresses me first and foremost as a highly competent practitioner who can make a rapid, accurate assessment, and apply a firm assured hand to my dental treatment. I am fearful when it comes to treating a cavity, and I wanted gas, which he said was not needed. He finished drilling in exactly the time he estimated, and true to his word it didn't hurt at all. I think he knows precisely what he is doing and his self-assurance makes me feel confident.
Second, his approach is conservative and non-invasive. My wife came for a second opinion from another dentist who wanted to do a cap. Bressack told her that with diligent brushing and flossing after eating she would be fine without it. Six years later she is still fine.
Third, his card reads "Mercury Free Holistic Dentistry" but he has never even mentioned removing my mercury, as long as the fillings are still solid. The point being he leans toward holistic but does not push it. If you went in wanting to remove your mercury I couldn't tell you where he stands on that.
In summary, a friendly enough guy with excellent skills and a firm focus. My best dentist yet.
