Dr. Bressler runs one of the worst dental practices in the city, if not the state. He has an incompetent staff that does the bulk of the dental work at his office. His dentists are the classic arrogant types that refuse to listen to your complaints. You could be pointing to an abcess just oozing with pus and they'll brush it aside and insist that you need some bogus cosmetic procedure instead. I am also convinced that they make up cavity counts to make as much money as possible. One guy in there, every time I went to get my teeth drilled, he would keep discovering brand new cavities on top of the ones he had discovered during the examination. So one week you'd have X cavities, then the next appointment they'd discover more cavities, and then after that more cavities. Their work is shoddy at best and destructive at worst. Fillings start to crack or chip a few months after getting them done. Teeth that didn't have sensation at all before getting drilled start becoming overly sensitive. No prep work done at all when it comes to really delicate procedures like removing impacted wisdom teeth. Just two short injections of novacaine and five seconds in, they're coming at you ready to yank everything out just as the novacaine is beginning to kick in.

About Front Desk: The office manager is a shady person who deliberately defrauds both patients and insurance companies alike. The tactic is to lie to patients and claim that their insurance doesn't cover certain procedures. When you catch her and the staff in a complete and utter lie, they then arrogantly snort at you that they're not responsible for knowing whether insurance covers procedures or not. If so, then why flat out say that their insurance doesn't cover procecures as if they knew for sure that was the case? Other signs of shadiness? If you look at reviews for Bressler at Yelp or wherever, you will always see that many new glowing reviews posted in and around the same time will always magically pop up to counteract the negative ones. Even here on Dr. Oogle, there are two glowing reviews posted on the exact same day in July. This is consistent. I don't know if she is still there, but the receptionist I dealt with at the time was probably one of the most ill-mannered, arrogant, condescending, low class boors you could ever employ at any office. Doesn't listen, arrogantly and abruptly interrupts, is not above yelling at you or shouting you down as if you were a kid and she the strict school marm. Puts on this obnoxious air that customers don't have the right to ask questions or call into question certain things, because they should feel "lucky" to have found this oh, so wonderful ghetto and poorly run office in the heart of ramshackle Flatbush. You can practically feel the contempt this barely literate beast has for the clientele here, possibly--and I suspect-- because many of them are low income, largely immigrant, and on Medicare government assistance, so she feels infinitely superior to them for some reason. Yet she couldn't be more low class herself-- has that classic "ebonics" twang in her voice, can barely annunciate words, and wears an ugly, unprofessional hairstyle to work, appropriate more for the nightshift at McDonalds than a medical office. The last straw dealing with this woman and Bressler's office was, in trying to reclaim money that was due to me when I decided to cancel a procedure. She had the sheer and utter gall to bellow at me like I was lower than a piece of dirt, and then hang the phone up on me with a huge, gigantic clang, as if "that was that" and I just had to shut up and deal. Well, she and that office will never get the last word on this. They can keep putting up false reviews all they want, but as long as they do, I will always keep posting my experiences about them and this office so everyone knows the truth.
