Since childhood, I have had a dread fear of dentists. I would have called it a phobia.
Over the years, I attempted to find a dentist who would take my fear seriously. I was unsuccessful because each dentist I visited dismissed my phobia as meaningless; therefore I stopped going to dentists altogether.
Many, Many years later it becaume absolutely necessary that I had to have dental work done. Dr. Bruce Lish was recommended to me. Dr. Lish took my phobia seriously and very professionally explained what dental work needed to be done and offered to do the major work while I was under general anesthesia in the hospital.
Two years later, I can now sit in his dentist chair without fear. Dr. Lish saved the health of my mouth. I owe him a debt of gratitude. His professionalism, sensitivity and caring built up my confidence and faith in him so that he now can perform any and every procedure without me having to have general anesthesia.
He has a marvelous sense of humor, he is gentle and kind and I would recommend him anyone.
