I am extremely disappointed with Mr. Kahane's care. I have trusted this dentist for 8 years. I've have been going to him religiously for 8 years with every 6 -12 months visits for dental cleaning and check ups. After 8 years, my insurance changed so my dentist changed as well. I had an emergency tooth infection going into my nasal sinus that could have traveled into my brain (I could of end up in a coma if I had not got immediate care for this infection). (I know because I was a nurse in the ER and ICU for 7-8 years. The new dentist took xrays and showed me that I needed almost half a dozen or more crowns and a lot of internal cavities that were not taken care of by my original dentist, Barry Kahane. I was in distraught. It took me literally 4 years to complete my dental issues & about $10,000+ out of pocket expenses because (dental plan only covers $2,000 max yearly).Prior to this, it was confirmed by 3 other dentists that I do have all these problems and it needed to be taken care of. I trusted Mr. Kahane for 8 years & every visit I asked him if I had any cavities or any issues with my teeth. He told me my teeth are good and he does not see any cavities at all. I do not recommend him at all. He is dangerous to your health. -RN
