You have to get second opinions with him. He is skillful, coordinated, careful, attentive, concerned and friendly, but he does unnecessary work. My parents went to him. My brother goes to him. And I went to him for many years, even after learning about the unnecessary work. Once I had reason to suspect that there was no need for a crown he wanted to sell me. I didnt let him do the job right then. He had fed me information that had me worried that my tooth might break apart before the next appointment if I didnt get it right then, but he said it would be my decision. I said I didnt have time right then and visited another dentist as though getting a routine checkup. When that dentist found nothing, I said, I dont need a crown? Agitated he said, Is some dentist trying to sell you a crown? He gave my teeth a second inspection and said that I had no need for a crown. He was angry that Dr. Anderson tried sell me one. I asked why Anderson would do that. He said that crowns are very profitable for dentists. After that 2nd opinions helped me avoid other unnecessary work. When my father was in a hospital, Anderson visited to make an adjustment to make my father comfortable. He's compassionate and deft, but there's a downside

About Hygienist: I've never seen another dental office with such a high turnover of hygienists. It was one of them who tipped me off about getting second opinions before letting Dr. Anderson do work. The next time I went back, she no longer was there. The hygienists there are competent and kind, but knowing what I know, you have to wonder if it could be why so many of them leave.

I know this doctor: 25 years
