I have had multiple root canals, fillings and cleanings over the years. Dr. Scurria is honest and direct about what needs to be done. He is not more expensive than other dentists and when he referred me to an oral surgeon for one procedure, it was an appropriate and quality referral. You can choose to do less than what he recommends, but I never felt he was pumping the bill, having worked with him for a long time I can say he is always looking at the long term perspective on your teeth, but will tell you what can be done for less money as a shorter term solution. I have had a couple changes in insurance and he always took the companies I had. He does all the work himself, whereas in other offices I have had assistants do some of the work with less satisfactory results. I recommend him if you want to be assured of a quality outcome.
