Dr. Leon has had to solve some interesting problems with my pre-existing condition of a mouth. He has been straightforward in warning me that some technique does not always work (standard medical disclaimers), but he hasn't failed on me. He did a root canal where the root was twisty and deep. We worked together to invent a spacer which is cost effective and comfortable. He has a pragmatic attitude, such as recommending that we wait and see if a baby tooth falls out before it really needs treatment. Dr. Leon is also generally well-educated, and is willing to share his knowledge of anatomy and science with our family.

About Hygienist: Turnover of hygienists (DH) is slow, meaning they are happy to work here. One long-time DH has watched our kids grow up, and is more convincing about hygiene than us parents could ever be. A fairly new DH has excellent academic credentials, smooth technique, and responsive conversation, sensitive, of course, to my lapses in speaking ability.
