During August of 2002, I received 4 (upper) front teeth veneers from Dr. Rick Lawson (located at 9377 E. Bell Road; Scottsdale, AZ 85260). Dr. Lawson told me these teeth would last AT LEAST 10 years. It was only TWO YEARS later, while eating something soft yesterday, one of my veneer teeth cracked right off at a diagonal.
I am very unhappy about this horrid situation and I have been from the beginning. This has been a dental nightmare! A review of my entire dissatisfaction is as follows:
1) WITHOUT EVEN ASKING ME or consulting with me FIRST, Dr. Lawson took it upon himself to completely shave down my REAL teeth to nubs, so he could adhere the veneers to my real teeth. In all honesty, I was horrified when I looked in the mirror and saw only 25% of my real teeth remaining! This may be procedure (to shave the REAL teeth down to nubs) but I was NEVER, at any point, informed that there would be nothing left of my real natural teeth! Looking back, I would NEVER APPROVE this procedure had I been informed. (I would have had them bonded!.)
2) The way the teeth look now both in the shape of the veneers and how they look in my mouth! (They appear to look like BILLY-BOB teeth.)
3) Now, after only TWO YEARS, one breaks off
