Purposely does as much as he can on teeth that don't need the work. Works in a hurry. The hygenist who doesn't know a lot does most of the actual work. He removed a healthy crown without asking for permission and forced me to pay for it again if I wanted my tooth back. He works too fast to give time to pause/question & doesn't explain in advance. He took x-rays on me but never looked at them b4 he did the crown (without my permission) and he never looked at my file. The hygenist told me he didn't see the x-rays or the file. She said he can look at them next time. But then he broke the old crown without telling me that he will or explaining anything before, during or after. He is the only doctor in an office full of patients that are all "his." The hygenist was the only source of info but was impatient all the info contradicted with the dentist later when he finally called my house later in the day. He purposely broke a second crown at this visit. It was supposed to be a simple visit to fix enamel-- according to the hygenist. 4 years ago he worked on the 2nd crown that he broke "accidentally" yesterday--his hands shook. His expartner didn't think a cavity was a cavity that he was going to fix 3 yrs ago.

About Hygienist: Mary is awful there. unpleasant, nasty, awful in every way. Christine is great. The front desk people are nice. Stay away from Dr. Stowitts and his hygenist Mary. The place used to have Dr. Dicus as his partner, and things were great while Dicus was there. Now it's all corrupt.
