Went there to get a quote for fillings on two teeth, because the other dentist had quoted $370 each. To be fair I also scheduled a teeth cleaning to generate some revenue for them. I asked for a quote or some kind of insurance preauthorization beforehand but did not get one. I also told them that i would come to get a quote, and not "to talk". The dentist tried to sell me veneers but when I asked for fillings only he said they would charge for one and a half hours of his time (total). The discussion took 3 minutes and I had brought my x-ray printouts. When I left the office they charged me $105 for cleaning and $75 for a "periodic exam" and quoted $525 per tooth. This is ridiculous, as the "exam" had never happened and the doctors only useful sentence about the effort (1.5 hours) had absolutely nothing to do with the actual quote of $525 x 2. But there is nothing I could do against the charge. I did not have a good impression. To me it looked like a greedy place where the only thing that counts is money. And again, they did not tell me beforehand what they would charge. So better insist on a quote before you get ANY service.

About Hygienist: Cleaning was OK, nothing special. At the other office it felt cleaner afterwards, but this may have been subjective.
