All of the staff, from the receptionists to Dr. Magat himself is very polite, professional and courtious. The office looks clean and modern The equipment is up-to-date, and the doctor himself is very knowledgable.
First off, the office staff was very friendly. They were able to make an appointment for me within 1-2 business days. I called on Friday and went in on Monday. I have insurance, so I can't comment too much about the cost, but my insurance seemed to covered the bill 100%. The paperwork was minimal, and the waiting room was pleasant. Got to watch "Stealth" the movie, but only got through the beginning... nice touch instead of just the boring dentist films and magazines. :)
The exam and cleaning was easy. He'll tell you exactly what he's doing as he does it, so no surprises. The cleaning was relatively painless and thorough.
Afterwards, unlike other dentists' offices, Dr. Magat doesn't push unnecessary procedures on you just to make money. He noticed that I had two silver fillings and asked if I wanted to make them white, since my other fillings were already white, but he didn't try to push the procedure, and was very upfront about the pros and cons. I like that... no pressure.
