I'm partway through my implant procedure. I am very pleased with my progress thus far. Dr. Kwok and his staff have done an ecellent job in making my experience a positive one.
I am a "bad" dential patient. I have numerous episodes in my past that have made me fearful of dentists in general. However, in this office, I feel cared for, listened to, and accomodated.
My inital implant procedure went very well. My pain and discomfort were minimal. My healing seems to be on target.
I am currently in the process of preparing for more implants in my upper mouth. Trying to save some money, I originally opted for only 2 implants on top, to secure my denture. However, the denture is structured in a way that covers my palate. People, know this.......your palate is full of taste buds....we should all know this, right? Our tongues just don't do the whole trick!
Taste is very important to me, and I've decided to do the extra implants to allow for a denture that leaves my palate free.
Dr. Kwok is well educated, and well experienced in what he does. I trust him explicitly. He explains in detail all risks involved in each procedure. His assotiate, Dr Ma, is also very experienced in his field.
