I'm reviewing a procedure I had with Dr Ford in 1985. He performed two root canals on my #41 & #42 incisors, and though #41 seemed ok, #42 started giving me intermittent trouble starting about 1991. He should have referred me to a specialist. I would get a dull pain in my chin every now and then, and in 2012 I had an eruption on the bottom of my chin. It healed, but in 2015, I had my eye tooth next to #42 develop an abscess, and it was revealed in the X-Rays that the root canal done on #42 left about a centimeter of root undone. It had been getting infected on and off through the years, and now I have to get it fixed properly. If you had spent less time flirting with your Assistant/Hygienist at the time and more time paying attention to what you were doing, or better yet, refer me to a specialist instead of trying to do endodontics yourself, this wouldn't be an issue. But you don't have to worry about that thirty years later. I do.
That said, you did a great job with fillings back then. Still have some you did, and they still pass muster. Just don't have root canals done by this guy.
