Dr. Wallace has been my dentist since I moved to Seattle 3 years ago. I have had extensive dental work, including crowns and fillings. I also have trouble with my bite (teeth alignment) and Dr. Wallace has patiently and extensively worked with me to improve my bite. He always takes time with me, answering all my questions and openly providing his advice. His work is impeccable. For example, he very carefully picks the color of crowns, and asks for your input, so the crown color matches your other teeth. I am very comfortable following his recommendations, because he has demonstrated his expertise and yet always realizes that cost is a consideration. He would not recommend an expensive procedure if he did not think it was absolutely necessary. He has a calming effect on me, even when he is telling me bad news about a tooth. He is skilled in administering novacaine, so I do not feel pain during procedures (if I do feel a twinge, he notices even the smallest flinch, and asks me if I am ok or if I need more novacaine). Cost is reasonable for the expertise he provides, and they will allow payment by installments if necessary. The office is state of the art.

About Hygienist: All of Dr. Wallace's staff (hygienists, assistants, receptionists) are very friendly and genuinely interested in making sure the experience is as pleasant as possible. The hygienists do not make you feel bad about neglecting to floss, or neglecting to have regular cleanings. The cleanings are thorough but gentle. If you have sensitive spots on your teeth, the hygienists will not persist in picking at them. I hate cleanings, but the hygienists at Dr. Wallace's office make them tolerable. I trust the expertise of everyone who works at Dr. Wallace's office.
