I have had gum surgery and a tooth implant by Dr. Speert.
I was scared to death at first, but he instilled confidence and made me feel less anxious about the whole procedure. He really knows his stuff and performs the work with precision, care and confidence which in turn makes me trust him all the more. I was lucky to get him as a referral.
I experienced a lot much less pain than i thought I'd have after such a lengthy procedure. As for cost, I would not know how to judge him as I've not compared him with any other periodontists in the area as he was referred by my regular dentist.
He and his staff are so nice and make me feel right at home. They are super-organized and efficient in getting your treatment plans to you with what your insurance will contribute and there are many payment options.
I'm getting ready to have more work, which I'm not happy about, BUT, I wouldn't have it done by anyone else. Sometimes, he waives costs toward the procedure and is very fair about trying to keep the costs down.
I would highly recommend Dr. Speert to everyone! He's so down to earth and follows up the night of the procedure to see how you are doing.
