My visit to this dentist was the first and last one I will ever make. I went for a routine cleaning and checkup. I really cannot comment on the cost since my insurance paid for everything. The facilities seemed nice, so I felt confident going into the checkup. The front desk ladies were very nice. Little did I know, Dr. Nickhinson was not like his front office staff. He was unfriendly and would barely speak to me. I asked him some questions, which he either ignored entirely or his hygenist ended up answering them for me. This stressed me out because I felt like I had a cavity and he would not address any questions about it. I finally had to ask his hygenist before I left if I had any cavities and she said no. Why couldn't he answer that? Plus, this was the first time in my entire life where I have gone for a cleaning and my teeth DID NOT feel clean afterwards. It felt about the same as if I did a halfa** job brushing my own teeth with an old toothbrush. They did not even floss my teeth during the cleaning. What kind of a cleaning is that? The only good thing was that I asked for a referral to an orthodontist and that was promptly taken care of. Find another dentist!
