(Wisdom Teeth Extraction; 3 impacted) This dentist seems to have done this quite a few times. From anesthesia to recovery room, it took 25 minutes. He is very cut and dried, but if you have lingering questions or concerns, he is more than happy to answer them.
Recovery was and still is miserable, because I cannot take any form of codeine. But, when I was up in the middle of the night two days post-surgery, emptying my stomach of everything, he was available via cell to help me get anti-nausea medication and later to tell me to go to the ER. My swelling has completely gone away, although it is still slightly difficult to open my mouth completely. (I think that might be the forceful opening of my mouth from vomiting for five hours.) Throughout the whole thing he was very nice (save for the middle of the night phone call where he said he didn't think my vomiting was a result of anything he had done).
I used my dental insurance. I paid 20% of the procedures, which was very easy, and was due before the surgery in any form.
Front desk was mildy abrupt and very easily annoyed by my mild panic with the first bout of nausea when they initially gave me percocet.
