There are many reasons to rave about about Dr. Ricci's dental practice, though frankly price is not one of them. Dr. Ricci is expensive. Price aside, Dr. Ricci and his staff are consummate professionals. His dental equipment and the methods employed are on the cutting edge. It is clear that Dr. Ricci enjoys being a dentist and invests heavily in the technological aspects of his practice. From the greeting staff to the technicians and hygienists, the office is run for the benefit of patients needs. The caring and considerate nature of all involved is readily apparent. Dr. Ricci is surrounded by a female staff and they run his office. It is nice to see a staff that is genuinely happy. Patients have been going to Dr. Ricci for years, and like myself are quite loyal. Dr. Ricci's facilities are clean with television monitors in each cubicle. Dr. Ricci usually has a dental tech prep me for a procedure. Then the dentist comes, is assisted by that dental tech and at the end the dental tech cleans me up. Dr. Ricci's demeanor is friendly and thoughtful. The son of a plumber, Dr. Ricci does not stand apart from his patients as some medical professionals do. At the dentists office in burbank you will see all types of patients.

About Hygienist: The practice has I believe two hygienists, a previous one retired after being at the practice for 14 years. I've used both of Dr. Ricci's hygienists and they are thorough without being painful. Of course the state of a patient's teeth dictates whether scrapping or scaling teeth for plague and food bits will be painful. My teeth are not perfect and I probably require more care and cleaning than most.
