Worst experience ever. I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed and that wasn't too much of a problem. However the billing is unbelievable. I had to pay them $380 upfront. I was told that after the insurance companies reimbursed the Doctor's office that they would send me a check for the difference. That is not a problem. However what happened subsequently is unbelievable. At the initial visit, I gave them all my insurance info. I am covered by BCBS and METLIFE. After several months I had not heard back from their office regarding my overpayment. I had already received a statement from Metlife that the Doctor's office had been paid all but $250. When I telephoned them they stated that I would receive the overpayment shortly. I also asked them if they had submitted it to BCBS and they stated that it wasn't necessary since BCBS would not pay anything. I informed them that I wanted them to submit anyway so that BCBS could make that determination. After waiting several weeks, and not receiving a check from their office, I telephoned them again. and asked where was my check. They stated that they had not issued it yet but would shortly. I asked if they had submitted my info to BCBS and they stated again that it was not necessary. I told them again to let BCBS make that determination.
Several weeks later I received a check, but had heard nothing from BCBS. I telephoned the Doctor's office again and they said they would submit it that day. They did submit that day but I found out later that they had only submitted it for the xrays and not for the extractions. I told them again to submit it for the extractions. Again they stated that BCBS would not pay anything for that. I told them again to submit the info. I then called BCBS and told them that the Drs office had refused to submit my paperwork for the procedure. BCBS called the Dr s office and told them to submit the paperwork. After several more phone calls to the Drs office and BCBS, i received a notice from BCBS that the remaining money that I paid out of pocket was sent to Dr Robinson. I asked BCBS if they could reissue the check to me. They called Dr Robinson's office and told them to not cash the check because they were going to reissue it to me. They agreed reluctantly. A few days later I received a call from BCBS and was told that the Drs office had cashed the BCBS check even though they stated that they would not.
BCBS called his office and conferenced me in. They stated that they had cashed the check and that I would receive everything except for $92. BCBS and I told them that they had been fully reimbursed so why wasn't I going to receive the remaining 92. They stated that Metlife didn't pay $92 and so I was not going to get it. This was in spite of the fact that the Dr received the full reimbursement for the $380 that I had paid. I told their office that they weren't even going to send the bills to BCBS and it was only after my insisting numerous times and after BCBS contacted them that they finally sent the bill to BCBS. The lady at the office stated they would never tell someone that BCBS would not pay and not submit the bills. I told the individual that I was told this at least 3 times by their office.
I finally gave up and I never received the $92.
By the way the extraction was in October 2014 and the BCBS was not even submitted until March 2015.
Whatever you do, don't go to this office unless you want to be ripped off!
