I want to start off that Dr Boyer is a wonderful oral surgeon. He is kind and patient with any questions you may have. I highly recommend him.
His partner, Dr Glenn Schieve is another story. Go to him if you want someone who is condescending and a jerk. If you want for nitrous oxide, don’t bother. Not sure what the deal is, but there is no effect from what he administers. Don’t expect any topical numbing meds before he sticks the needle into various areas of your mouth, because he doesn’t use it.
Also, don’t expect enough novocaine to be used, because he is either too cheap or a sadist (which I lean towards the latter). If you want to be yelled at because you can’t open your mouth wide enough for him (like your a petulant child), he’s your guy. I will be reporting him to the ADA and tell everyone I know about my experience.
If you don’t like your job, then get out of the business! He has no right to treat people as disrespectful as he does. I personally let him know. I want to save others from the same experience.
