I am not one to write a review at all, much less a negative one, but I thought it was important to share my experience. I had my wisdom teeth extracted by Dr. Sykes and was VERY unimpressed by his technique. Not only did I experience extreme, unnatural swelling and dizziness after the procedure, but I later discovered that Dr. Sykes had burned my inner cheek with his cautery tool, causing my rough recovery. He never told my family or I about this, leaving us very confused. The procedure from start to finish of administering general anesthesia and extracting 4 wisdom teeth, 2 of which were severely impacted, took Dr. Sykes a total of 15 minutes. Several doctors have since told me that my procedure should have taken much longer to be conducted carefully and professionally. Long after the extraction I am still experiencing tooth fragments and sore gums where he teeth were removed. I would NEVER recommend Dr. Sykes to anyone. I urge you to take this in to serious consideration before entrusting your care to him.
