Orthognathic surgery (extension of lower jaw) - Following surgery and removal of braces, I had minimal contact points between upper and lower teeth. Dr. Tucker denied any issues so I visited several other surgeons who, after looking at my records, indicated that my surgery was performed prematurely before my arches were properly aligned. Ultimately, I had to have orthodonic treatment again with an out of state expert to make the best of the mistakes Dr. Tucker made. Throughout the process, Dr. Tucker was defensive and refused to acknowledge that there were issues with my procedure. I had to bear the cost of all my revision treatment and travel out of state to seek expert advice.
