I had a wisdom tooth decide to give me a LOT of pain- and of course over a holiday weekend- 5 days total. I called at 8am- they got me in that same day and did the x-ray (digital image of entire mouth), consult, payment plan, and procedure within an hour and a half. Not having dental insurance was pricey, but the procedure was worth it. Also 3% discount for cash payment (at least something off) All friendly staff- Dr Smeltzer was all business, but kind. I was very nervous since I had never had anything worse than the flu or fillings done. Staff helped me by keeping me distracted. Surgical suite was nice. Partially strapped into the chair for sedation. Am afraid of needles so Dr Smeltzer kept me distracted while putting in the sedation needle. Then got fuzzy and next thing I knew it was all over and I was in recovery. Very nice nurse. Went over all after care with my husband- he pulled around the car and she wheeled me right out. 2 small wisdom teeth on one side and one slightly impacted wisdom tooth out on the other. That one had to be cut out- he used dissolving stitches so those don't have to come out - a big plus. also numbed my mouth before coming out of sedation so no pain. So far so good! No pain and no problems!
