I highly recommend Buena Vista Orthodontics. Dr. Merilynn Yamada and staff are competent, knowledgeable, considerate and very friendly. To be in a comfortable environment and not be stressed is an integral part of a successful treatment plan, especially one that is lengthy. My treatment plan was "unique" in that my situation was more difficult than the usual patient's. I required screws on the roof of my mouth as well as on the sides of my jaw. The doctor and staff had to work extra hard on me as there was a lot of ingenious wiring involved. One thing that I found fascinating is that all of the technicians take turns, whomever is available takes the next patient. That proves the efficiency, teamwork and competence of the entire staff, all are equally proficient and knowledgeable. Everyone there, including the front desk and office staff made it a very pleasant experience for me. My treatment lasted approximately 4 years and 2 months. Considering all of the extensive work needed to be done on my behalf, everyone worked on me without hesitation. It was painful at times, no doubt about that, but they constantly checked on me and were considerate of that. I had an overall positive experience and am very happy with the end result!!!!!!
