The positive: Dr. Barajas was friendly and did good work. He showed a genuine interest for me and my family.Office staff was great but when they changed staffing, it wasn't so comfortable anymore. Problem 1: Staff unfriendly and inpatient about answering questions about work done. I was confused about billing and it took many efforts to get someone to explain to me so I could be comfortable. In the end I figured it out and was ok with billing. I left because of staff, not dentist. Problem 2: Next dentist discovered work submitted to insurance company wasn't really done...verified through x-ray. Barajas asked to refund insurance company. In the end I was correct in leaving.
I never would have known if I hadn't changed dentists. This happened a few years ago but I still feel bad about it. You need to trust the person doing work on you. I found someone I could trust.
