Hidden Valley Orthodontics is a high-tech practice that seems to be all glitter and little substance from what we experienced. This is a large practice that is geared towards high patient volume and high profits but very little patient monitoring by the doctor. Most all work is performed by dental techs. Previously owned by Dr. Lawrence Michel. Search his reviews here on Dr. Oogle to read how little has changed when Dr. Fortney took over this practice.

Hidden Valley Orthodontics has done an amazing job for myself and my family! I would highly recommend anyone to this office. Great customer service!

Dr. Fortney and staff have created a wonderful, caring enviromnent for myself and my children. We have nothing but great things to say and have referred many of our friends in Escondido there. My kids love the arcade!

Dr. Fortney is open, honest and caring professional. I wouldn't however, recommend the other ortho who works with her. Fortney; however, was a breath of fresh air. Should open her own practice. Really cares about patients, although didn't catch cant in my mouth developing--showed concern--validated the cant, and showed willingness to correct. Poor success treatment due to her partner showing apathy and offensive over me assertively confronting office on my prolonged cant problem. Yet, even with my frustration with her partner, Fortney remained calm and kind.
