This Orthodontist has very poor Business practices they do not return phone calls on on incorrect billing matters and he trys to bill for cancelled appointments. I had a phone conversation with Susan in his office and she lied to me about a notation in our chart on a cancelled appointment. It's been three months of billing problems that I have to keep calling on!! WARNING!!!!!! Don't go to this Doctor!!!!

My daughter received treatment from Dr. Reznichek over the course of about 4 years, as we changed treatment plans midway when we decided to extract some teeth. Dr. Reznichek is a caring and personable dentist who makes his patients at ease. The only main complaint we would have is wait time. She often had to wait a while to be seen for scheduled appointments, and if we missed an appointment he was often booked 2-3 weeks in advance. We were very pleased with the outcome.

My daughter has been going to him for 6 years. He doesn't communicate with his patients or their parents. He seems frustrated when you ask him questions about treatment. Talk sports with him and he is more than happy. After trying to line up some teeth with no success and the treatment time being so long they tried to charge addition fees, the insurance company stepped in a said it was againt the by-laws and couldn't charge the additional fee's. She was sent to an oral surgeon to have wisdom teeth removed. The oral surgeon mentioned Dr. Reznichek wanted a bone screw inserted, again we were not told of this by him.

My 2 children have gone to Dr. Reznichek for a couple years now, son is in phase 1 and daughter in phase 2. There is no communication regarding my childrens progress, unless I ask, then it's vague. They have both had several (an extremely unusual amount) brackets fall off with $25 per bracket to replace. They have performed work without informing us that has resulted in hundreds of dollars being billed to us without our prior knowledge. And lastly, there offices (Escondido and San Marcos) are old and grungy...that should have been my first clue. I will be finding a new orthodontist for my son's phase 2 treatment!

He has been out for eye surgery, expected to be gone only 2 months...it's been 9 and still no sign of his return. Aren't I paying for his services? Several others filling in for him unsuccessfully. My daughter had a bracket come off and hang in her mouth. When I called to bring her in the first thing they said to me was that I owed money for the last month, then was told they wouldn't see her until her next visit unless she was in pain. I demanded she be seen as this was a hazard! What if the wire broke and she swallowed or choked on the bracket! Each time we go into the office, we get different stories on her treatment plan and things change daily. We've been going to him for nearly two years and she has not passed the first phase, yet they expected me, at the drop of a hat, to pay 50% of the next phase. Waiting time in the office has always been a minimum of 40 minutes and sometimes up to an hour. It's ridiculous. If I want to speak with him directly, I have to leave a message with the office and hope he gets it and calls me. If I want an update on my daughter's treatment, I have to corner the attending orthodontist and he usually will tell me he doesn't know, he's just following instructions. I will never recommend him.

Even with an appointment scheduled well in advance, I have never been to Dr. Reznicheck's office and gotten in and out without having to wait at least an hour. There are too many things going on at one time and I don't feel I get the personal attention that my money pays for. His time is obviously expensive but I feel that he doesn't respect my time in getting my kids in and out of the chair in a reasonable amount of time.

This is the most unprofessional doctor I have ever come across. Had my family known the poor quality of his care, we would have never sought treatment from him. The setup of his facility allows no privacy and lacks the "relaxing touches" that make a trip to the orthodontist less frightening. We found his office staff to be rude and difficult, forcing us to make uneccesary appointments costing my family both school and work time. Granted, a high schooler with braces is going to miss some school for appointments, however the office staff made several important scheduling decisions without consulting the Dr., causing several mishaps. Communication is difficult in this office, as the Dr. and his staff failed on multiple occasions to inform me of what to expect on upcoming appointments. My treatment was subpar, taking two more years than predicted, despite my adhering to all intstructions. In addition, the doctor promised that the braces would create a space where a surgeon could put an implant. My surgeon laughed at the idea of putting an implant in the space. It seems the space was significantly too small, the braces removed prematurely. I have since seen a new orthodontist, who estimates 2 more years of braces. Be warned!
