After treating my daughter for a year and a half Dr. Todd Gereb has abandoned her as a patient. He has closed his practice on Baltimore Dr and taken over another practice in La Mesa. He was paid $2900.00 for my daughters Ortho treatment. He stopped answering phones in November, so I physically went to his Baltimore Dr. office and it has a SDGE shut office notice as well as a letter stating that Dr. Gerebs office is closed for Christmas Holiday and will reopen on Jan 3rd 2011. I have tracked him down at his new location but he refuses to return my calls. We have seen 3 additional orthodontists for consultations. All of the three are familiar with Dr. Gerebs abandonment of his patients. I will have to pay $2500.00 more to finish the job that Dr. Gereb was paid for. The worst part is that all three of the Orthodontists that we visited have determined that my daughter needs jaw surgery. Something that was never mentioned once by Dr. Gereb in a year and a half of treatment. I have contacted the Dental Board of California and I encourage other families that were ripped off by Dr Gereb to contact them as well. Dr. Gereb's office was very clean and up to date. His office staff was very professional and I would reccomend his office to anyone I know. He provided the latest in orthodontic care which was a plus for me. His office was very fast and efficiant and I liked that I never waited more than 5 min for any appt and was out usually in 10.

The procedure and contract were very straight forward. Compared to some other othodontists I'd consulted, Dr. Gereb was the most practical. Front desk just does their job but who cares. Chair side manners? Very informal, chatty.
