Avoid this dentist.
1. He's expensive
2. Disrespectful of time: a 15 minute process would take more than an hour. Example, he would remove the braces wire, walk away to have a conversation about current events with another patient for 45 minutes, then return to bend the wire and put it back in
3. Fails to communicate: I left several voice mail messages but did not receive a return call
4. Unprofessional "bedside manner"

long wait times, takes patients out of order. Changes appointments at the last minute. Long procedure times for the six people I know who go here. Two years means closer to three.

I decided to get braces as an adult. Dr. Trammell had previously placed braces on my 2 sons. Both sons had great results. I automatically reached out to Dr. Trammell when I was ready to begin the process. Dr. Trammell and all team members were always friendly. After I initially provided my insurance information no further questions were asked regarding insurance. An easy payment plan was set up. I was told the time expectations for the treatment at the onset and the treatment was completed within the time frames provided. The facilities were always clean and comfortable. They were flexible with appointment times. Dr Trammell engaged my dentist at one point to consult with him about the treatment plan. I am very pleased with the final results--a new smile to be proud of.

Currently at the one year point with the adult braces. Dr. Trammell and staff are doing a very nice thorough job. He takes the time to explain the process from the beginning and during the visits. Go with a seasoned pro like Dr. Trammell.

Dr. Trammell did a fabulous job. Since I was to have some cosmetic work done post orthodontia, my dentist was coordinating wtih Dr. Trammell. He is one of the top dentists in Dallas, and he was highly complementary. He sees lot of orthodontic results and felt that my mouth was done beautifully. I have had my braces off for over a year and everything looks terrific.. I am diligent about wearing my retainers, though and know that is ciritical to ongoing success.

In my opinion, Dr. Trammell is one of the best orthodontists in the North Dallas area. My mouth cavity is small, but the size of my permanent teeth are big. Through an X-ray I could see that my permanent teeth lined up in 3 layers above my baby teeth. I still remembered how worried my Mom was a couple of years ago.
Through Dr. Trammell's careful treatment, my permanent teeth all came out smoothly and lined up nicely. Dr. Trammell is very experienced and patient with me. His dental assistants are very skillful and easy-going as well.
I go to Dr. Trammell's Plano location most often, because it is the closest to our house. If you are looking for an orthodontist, I highly recommend that you give him a call. You won't regret it! http://www.trammellortho.com/
