Dr. Berman first worked on my husband, then on me. He gave us each a beautiful smile. At all times, he discussed all our options, reviewed time line and expectations. We are thrilled with our results. Two beautiful smiles. Dr. Berman clearly knows what he's doing - no time was wasted in the treatement process. I felt well taken care of throughout.

Dr. Berman very rudely left us waiting 45 minutes today for an initial consultation. He made no apology or explanation for the delay. He does not respect other's time and talks down to patients.
About Front Desk: Front desk staff was inadequate in terms of communicating scheduling delays.

Approach with caution.
Like other orthodontists, Berman and Lee want you to prepay for treatment. However I did so, and when I moved from the area had a lot of difficulty. For a time I tried commuting from Wilmington NC to their Falls Church office. They were very unaccomodating about scheduling appointments. Then, when I decided we had to transfer to a NC Orthodontist after they cancelled an appointment without notice (snow day) it took multiple calls and four months to get a partial refund of the prepaid amount.
Also, the Orthodontist we contacted here asked for an AAO Transfer form. A month ago, Berman's office promised to send the form. Today, a month later, they told me "we don't do transfer forms." I have paid them $3500 for treatment (even after the refund) and they won't fill out a two page form! The orthodontist's office here was amazed.
In fairness, I was happy about the treatment before we moved. But think carefully before you write them a large check!
