We will not visit this office again.
At our appointment today,Dr. Philip chastised me for comforting my 4 year old son when he cried. My son said that the x-ray thing poked his mouth and hurt him. When the proceedings were over, I told my son that he did a good job and was brave. I added that the x-ray thing used to hurt me when I was little, too.
Dr. Philip scolded me for empathizing with my son and said that the x-ray thing did NOT hurt my son and to let the dental staff do their jobs.
I told him that I felt he was reprimanding me, so he did a little (patronizing) backpedaling, but basically reiterated his message... He made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable.
I am a National Board Certifited middle school teacher with 15 years of full-time classroom experience. I hold a Master's Degree in Child and Adolescent Development.
My son was a good patient who behaved like a typical 4 year-old. He was compliant but nervous. With unfamiliar adults hovering over him and putting implements in his mouth, I do not blame him! In no way did I undermine the office staff and was actually doing my best to reinforce their messages about healthy teeth. I simply wanted my son to be at ease.

My three children have seen this father/son dentist team. They are patient and AWESOME with kids. All of the staff is kind as well. My children have only needed to have check ups every 6 months and they look forward to going here. I'm very pleased with them and definitely recommend them to other families.

I am an ex patient of Dr. Wolksteins' I must add the only reason why i am no longer a patient is because I turned 18 a LONG time ago. He actually is the most nicest pediatric dentist I have ever encountered.

They are great! My son always gets the attention he needs. He dosen't like to go to the dentist, I have to step out when so the doctor can do his jog, when my son walks out of there he leaves with a big smile.

My two kids have been seeing Dr. Wolkstein for 6 years. We've been quite pleased. He is extremely professional, courteous and has a great staff. We can't comment on cost because our dental insurance has been covering everything. I recommend his practice highly.

I just switched my son from another dentist, with whom we had very negative experiences. My son was apprehensive about visiting the dentist because of past history. Dr. Wolkstein and his staff were fantastic and my son worked with them to complete his full exam with minimal stress. As the exam progressed and my son saw that the exam was going along gently, he relaxed further and laughed when he was done. Dr. Wolkstein and his staff discussed my son's oral health with me and Dr. Wolkstein showed my my son's x-rays and discussed them with me. He even gave me some tips for brushing my 19-month old's teeth more effectively. If you're looking for a dentist for your children, or looking to switch to a dentist and staff who are more caring and competent in treating children, you want Dr. Wolkstein.

an absolute in Prince! Knows exactly how to comunicate with children, my girls (age 8 & 14) have never had a bad experience with their dental visits , and believe me ........ they have both had more than their share of dental work.

Dr. Greg is an example of what doctor's should be. He is so nice to the kids in his office they really like going to see him. He's not a uptight stuffy doctor and the kids really respond to him. The staff there is great and the location is easy to get to. Sure the office can use a remodel to get out of the 80's but overall it's a great experience! kudos to Dr. Greg for getting it right.

My son and daughter have been going there for years. I highly recommend Dr. Wolkstein he is an excellent dentist my children actually enjoy going to the dentist. How many people can say that? His staff is wonderful in they take care of any insurance questions we may have and the front desk is so courteous..
