Our experience with Dr. Emelie Preis at NY Pediatric Dentistry has been very positive. We've been going there since my daughter was 2. The office environment is unique and there are lots of fun activities for the kids to do while waiting - which there is very little of (!). In the exam rooms, there are TV's on the ceilings to help entertain and distract the kids. Dr. Preis is very gentle, caring, and thorough. She is very patient in explaining the procedures and is more than happy to answer any questions you mat have. Overall we have been very pleased with our experience and would definitely recommend Dr. Preis and the practice. Our daughter hasn't cried once and actually enjoys a visit to the dentist!!

About Front Desk: The office is extremely clean, the receptionist a very courteous and prompt.

Dr. Preis the best out there! She relates with the patients as children and starts the exam once they are comfortable, all the while, they are happily distracted watching one of their favorite shows on the ceiling. I also really appreciated the individual treatment rooms that are a full step above what we've experienced in other pediatric dental offices!

My kids (ages 6, 12, 15) had cleaning and exams. The office is spotless, very comfortable and a welcoming environment. The moment my kids set foot in the waiting room, they were happy. My younger ones immediately went to the computers, and my older one appreciated being able to sit on the couch and relax and watch TV. The entire staff was welcoming and helpful, from the initial phone calls, to the time we checked in when we arrived, and through the entire visit. We were at Dr. Lou's practice in NYC and are now with him again, closer to our home in Westchester. Both he and his staff set the kids at ease. I know my kids are receiving the highest level of dental care. I would highly recommend Dr. Lou and NY Pediatric Dentistry!

My son started seeing Dr. Cooper when he was 2 years old in NYC. When we moved from the city to the suburbs we continued driving back into the city for dental appointments because Dr. Cooper was the most wonderful pediatric dentist we could hope for. Eventually my 2 year old graduated from high school and went away to college. Much to our surprise Dr. Cooper opened an office in Rye Brook and my 20 year old still prefers going to a pediatric dentist because of the confidence he has in Dr. Cooper. Their relationship is very special.

We used Dr. Lou for our daughter starting with her very first appointment until she was 17. He was great with her, always gentle, understanding, and very professional. We even went to New York and later Westchester when we moved to New Jersey, as we felt so positively about Dr. Lou, and my daughter only wanted to see him. I recommend Dr. Lou and encourage anyone to use his practice.

We've been seeing Dr Lou for several years, he was the first pediatric dentist we had ever seen. The office is easy to work with and my children look forward to visiting. Dr. Lou is sensitive, empathetic, and responsive to the needs of parents as well as the children.

Dr. Cooper is a great dentist. He has been working on my teeth for years and they are perfectly white and straight. Dr. Cooper is very friendly, helpful, and always has great manners. The office staff is wonderful. They are very flexible with appointments and are helpful when making them. The facilities are of top quality. There are a ton of games for kids in the waiting room and the sitting area is very comfortable. I recommend Dr. Cooper to any future patients looking for a great dentist.

Yesterday were my childrens' annual checkup w/ Dr. Lou. My son who is 3 1/2 yrs old has been telling me he wants to tell Dr. Lou that he has been chewing gum but not a lot of candy. My 5 yr old daughter wanted to ask him a question about the tooth fairy. Dr. Lou was patient, caring(and funny). I think seeing a pediatric dentist is the type of dentist that all children should go to. My kids will have a positive feeling for a lifetime.

About Front Desk: Dr. Lou's assistant Rayven was terrific.

We chose Dr. Lou for our daughter's first dentist appointment based on the amazing reviews online as well as a personal recommendation. Our entire experience in making the appointment and with the front office staff was great - no complaints. The waiting room had plenty of games and a TV to entertain the kids and overall it seemed state of the art. The Dental Assistant who received us and started off with us in the exam room was very friendly, explained things well, and my daughter loved her. THEN Dr. Lou comes in the room - doesn't introduce himself, doesn't even acknowledge me as her mother, doesn't explain what he's going to do in terms that she could understand, nothing. My daughter asked him if he was "Dr Lou", and then he engaged in some weird smart-aleck banter with her... "Do I look like the doctor?" etc and not in a sweet way. His demeanor was entirely inappropriate and he was treating her as if she was 12 years old. I politely reminded him that this was our FIRST dental visit. He proceeded to try to check out her teeth very aggressively and when my daughter shied away from opening her mouth, he badgered her with comments like "Come on now, I don't have all day" and "I've got to get going". She then started to get up
