Dr. Tucker sold his practice over a year ago. The last person wrote a review 7 months after he retired. Dr. Tucker is now pursing Medical/Dental missions in Guatemala and El Salvador. He has devoted his retirement to helping others. He also reads to intercity children at an Elementary school in Spring Valley. I laughed when I read the last comment for I didn't know George W Bush was a "Tea Party" I thought he was a compassionate conservative. I was sadden to see that the real complaint about Dr. Tucker was his politics. Any one who knows him knows that his best friend is a "Black" African American dentist (Don't want to go all PC on you) So to read this last comment and to say Dr. Tucker has a problem with "Mixed" people was just plain crazy. To judge a person because his/her politics are different is not very tolerant. The day this person has the heart and life of Dr. Tucker to donate his time and $ to others is the day I would listen to a narrow minded person like that. Dr. Luong bought Dr. Tucker's office and he is wonderful.

I would definitely stay-away from this dentist! Horrible staffs behavior, Completely 'Money-Minded' dentistry to a degree which makes you feel like you've entered to a Used-car Dealer‘s Office, 100% $-Related and Zero% Doctor/Patient relation! By the way . . . Daniel-Tucker is a major contributor to Republican/Tea party’s extremists and with a collection of Republican-Party’s “Thank-You for contribution” certificates and specially to George W. Bush hanging around his office walls. He and his staff are very unfriendly to mixed raced patients!

Practice was sold to Dr Luong. After a very painful exam, he said that my entire mouth needed major gum surgery at a cost of over $7000. A second opinion and only 1 tooth needed surgery at a cost of around $700. I got stuck paying 2 exam and xray fees, but saved all the pain and cost of unneeded work. BEWARE!!!!

Great periodontist. Very nice and friendly, staff is great. Had 7 surgeries for gum tissue grafts. Dr. Tucker is quick and professional. Great results.

Dr. Tucker was very good in explaining treatments and expected results. His front office staff is poor - unknowlegable of insurance re-imbursements and rude.

I had gum surgery with Dr. Tucker. He was very professional. The staff is polite and friendly.
The cost was reasonable, I used a discount dental plan - not insurance.

Good chair side manner. Very aware of any possible pain or stress. Charges what insurance would pay when you have no insurance.

Dr. Tucker keeps cost down by not plastering a flat screen tv on every available inch of wall space. The office is modest, but very clean and the equiptment that was used was very modern. The xrays they do are digital and transfer right to a computer. Dr. Tucker really took time to explain the procedure to me and was very honest about the extended time frame in which I had to have the gum graft performed. I elected to do it early because there would be less degeneration of my gum and therefore made the surgery less aggressive and not nearly as costly. Dr. Tucker and his assistant were very concerned with my level of comfort and any pain that I felt. For being awake during such an intense ordeal, I was relaxed and felt very calmed by Dr. Tucker. If I asked to look, I was allowed to and I was taken care of every step of the way. If you're looking for a froo froo salon office, this is not the one...but...if you want very experienced and gentle care at a very fair price, this is the practice to go to. There was as much attention to my pain and hygine management afterward during my healing time as there was before and during the procedure. One rare thing for a doctor's office by the way....they are always running on time!
About Hygienist: I can't remember her name, but she was so warm and accomodating that I felt like I had a friend there with me to hold my hand. She made me smile and kept me comfortable. The staff in the office is very accomodating.

Straight talking, no games. I really liked Dr. T and the staff very much. I had problems that did not require surgery except as a very last resort and Dr. T suggested we try that first. I was impressed with all of the staff and the way I was treated from the moment I walked in (my appointment was for 9:30 and I was in the chair at 9:30).

Very good care. Sensitive to patients needs and fears. I owuld recommend Dr. Tucker as a 5 star dentist.
