Very expensive. Does not take most coverage and office staff do not honor their pre-treatment quotes. His costs are higher than most insurers allowances. After treatment started they demanded extra payments. No problem with quality of treatment or personality, but if you care about cost, beware.

Dr. Rubinoff is a very skilled periodontist. Dr. Rubinoff performed a gum graft procedure on me. He was very professional before, during and after the procedure. He explained the entire procedure in a pre-procedure visit. He also did an excellent job during the procedure and called me personally a few days after the procedure to check on how I was doing. My experience with Dr. Rubinoff and his staff was completely positive.

I have a complex mouth, with one bridge, plus all my teeth have caps. I had receding gums that Dr. Rubinoff fixed by taking tissue from the roof of my mouth and grafting it to the gums. He was no more expensive than what I would have expected for extreme quality work. He approached my gum surgery with thorough and careful analysis. During the healing process, he had me come in for multiple check-ups to make sure it was healing properly and he always made himself easily available after hours. He made it as painless as possible for me and took care of my pre-surgery anxiety with stress medication. The older I get, the more I hate dental work; however, I would go to nobody else for periodontal treatment. I want only the best. Both my husband and I are in our mid-50s and when we have any work done on our teeth, it needs to be perfect. We are at the stage of life that losing our teeth is a real possibility if we do not receive the best care. It has been a few years since my surgery and my gums are still doing great and looking great. My husband is currently getting a dental implant and is equally as happy. We now go to Dr. Rubinoff twice a year for cleaning because preserving the investment we have in our teeth is worth it!

Dr. R treated a tooth that was becoming loose because of a dissolving bone around the tooth. He did a deep scraping around the tooth and bone and then implanted new bone matter. After suturing the gum area, I experienced very little pain and the treatment was successful. Insurance covered the cost.

he cheated me....!!! said i needed deep scaling but 'forgot' to mention he would charge me $3000 for the teth in the back because he cant reach them. He told me AFTER THE FACT... and it was too late for me by then. Dont make that mistake, ask him if he means ALL TEETH when he says you need Deep Scaling. Very very upset, feel like complaining about him to someone, just dont have the time. Hope this helps someone save time, and money and a lot of pain.
