I went to him for two crowns.
First crown: overly filed tooth and crown was not fitted properly - causing impingement on my gum and bite was incorrect. He refused to remove it, claiming it looked fine to him. This ill fitting crown caused my upper front teeth to move together and forward, now causing an overbite.
Second Crown: Tramatized my tooth causing severe pain, swelling and later an infection with swollen glands and fever. He was unconcerned and wanted to cement the crown anyway. Also he filed down the prepared tooth almost to the nerve of the tooth, so I have now been told I need a root canal before a crown can be fitted. He also filed down flat two perfectly good crowns of the opposing teeth without my permission which now have to be replaced.

i had a wonderfull epxerience with bernard stewart. i am really scared about dentist right from my kid. even though i have problems in my teeth. he did a great job without pain. i was so happy when i met him. its expensive but my insurance covered it.
front desk is ok.

Dealing with billing was a bit of a pain, but overall I found Dr. Stewart to be calming and gentle. The cleaning went fine and the cost was as I expected.

Superb service and care for all ages. Two generations of stewarts in one office make for great continuity of patient care and relationships.

The receptionist was very nice and very kind. They did not keep me waiting. They explained all the details. They made me feel relaxed. This dentist was very friendly and answered all of my questions.

The man is fair, and does great work. About 1/3 the cost of the dentist in Mountain View that tried to rip me off for 1800 for a crown! Dr. Stewart is THE MAN!

An older office, not many frills. But if you want painless, quick and very good work see Dr. Stewart ( or his son, who is also there). He reminds you to floss and such but never makes you feel like a silly kid who needs to be reminded to brush. Dental hygenists are great, as well.
