Dr Henegar's office filed the insurance wrong and did not provide proper information so that the insurance company could process the claim for payment. Dr Henegar's office filed for the insurance reimbursement before they had done the work which is improper and results in claim denial. Rather than re-filing the insurance claim properly, Dr Henegar's office charged me for the difference which is in violation of the contract they have with the insurance company and is contrary to the estimate they provided me with. I had 5 different girls start the work and then stop to go do something somewhere else. The entire time, they are talking about all their personal life. I was charged for custom color. If you like your teeth to look like you just drank a bucket of pee, this is the custom color for you. He has outgrown his business and can't take care of his customers or his billings. He has untrained workers doing the job about like untrained workers can be expected to do the job. The doctor did 2 veneers and will not be doing the others that I need. Only 2 teeth looking like I drank pee and only 2 double charges for the work being done is all I can take.

Had routine cleanings, deep cleanings, fillings and a bridge replaced. After keeping my routine 6 month cleanings for quite some time, I was told I needed a deep cleaning so they kept me coming back every 3 months for over a year. The deep cleanings were not covered under my insurance so it was expensive and if the regular cleanings were done as they should have been, I wouldn't have needed a deep cleaning. Also, the wait time is extremely long, often 30 - 45 minutes before you see the hygeniest and then to wait for the doctor after the cleaning is usually a minimum of 30 minutes but can be closer to an hour. I did not go to my last scheduled deep cleaning appt that was scheduled in April. In July I found a new dentist and was told I did not need a deep cleaning at all. Each time I was at Dr. Henegars office, I never felt like they had my best interest at heart, it was more motivated on how they could make additional money from me. Shame on me for not finding a new dentist sooner.

This was the worse dental experience I have ever had. My appointment was for 0900hrs. I arrived at 0845hrs signed in. There were at least 4 other people who indicated on the sign in that they were waiting for Henegar at the same time. At 0930hrs, a technician took me to the back office for x-rays. They did a panoramic and the 'clenched teeth method. They seemed that my insurance covered many procedures and wanted seemed to want to get them all done in those few minutes. I was led to the dental char and waited for another 1.5 hrs. When Henegar appeared, I asked him if this was the normal wait time to be seen. He apologized and took all of 2 minutes to examine my teeth. He was then gone. Overall a very bad experience. I will not return. I regret that they have used up my insurance x-ray allocation for the year.

I barely saw Dr. Henegar, he looked at my teeth for less than 5 minutes and talked with the hygenist the entire time. My temporary crown feel out 3 times despite my following eating instructions (I have 3 other crowns and have never had this happen before.) For my final visit I waited over an hour and was brushed off by the receptionist the 2 times I asked when I was going to be seen. I was seen after I asked for a full refund and refused to discuss the situation in the back office. If the waiting room was good enough for me to sit in for an hour it was good enough to discuss my dissatisfaction. I will never go back and do not recommend this dentist to anyone.

Ouch! Most painful crown ever!!! My cheek was bruised and swollen after the drilling, but it wasn't nearly as bad as the pain and sensitivity I felt when they put on the permanent crown. The doctor is friendly, but a little too smug -- making jokes about setting appointments to get "beat up again" for a second filling. Not funny, really. On the other hand, the staff is very helpful and the office is beautiful, with TVs at every chair. I just dread going back there. . . Too bad!

I had the most painful crown ever! When he drilled, it took hours (including extended breaks when he went to check out other patients) and I walked away with a swollen and bruised cheek. When I went in weeks later for my permanent crown placement, the assistant did it. I had tears in my eyes from the excruciating pain and uncomfortable nerve sensitivity -- and started crying in my car after I walked out. It was the worst dental experience I have ever had. When I went in for a cleaning afterwards, they found one small cavity and the doctor joked, "Better get that filled before you need another CROWN! Ha ha!" I will say, however, that the staff is all very friendly and helpful. The facility is beautiful, new and modern with televisions at every chair. I just leave their office in pain every time I visit (5 times -- 3 cleanings and the 2 crown sessions) and it's not worth it.

The wait was minimal - around 10 minutes - which I greatly appreciate. Before the procedure, I received no assurances from the staff about the doctors, the pain, the procedure itself. Nothing was done to put me at ease. Questions and conversation were directed to me from behind my chair until I asked them to move in front of me, which they did. Staff helping other patients kept interrupting the Dr to ask questions about other patients, which made me feel that the Dr was unable to concentrate fully on what he was doing with me. I had two front crowns -- porcelain fused to high noble metal. The procedure included a core buildup for two teeth as well as custom color matching. The final result is stunning. It is virtually impossible to tell the crowns from the regular teeth. While there is still moderate to high sensitivity in those front teeth, overall I am happy with the work done. The staff was very attentive about pain throughout the procedure, and as a result I received 4 shots. I had above average pain after the procedure, including bleeding and was not given the option to get a prescription for pain medication. The staff is friendly although somewhat immature. I would recommend customer service classes.

My 20 year old daughter had her exam, cleaning and then 2 fillings here. His staff was pleasant but we waited quite awhile on both visits. On the second visit for the fillings, we found out when we arrived that Dr. Henegar was not there after all and a second dentist would do my daughter's fillings. She was put in the chair and we waited a good 45 minutes to see the doctor. I can tell you that I don't even know his name and he had no idea on whose mouth he was working. He ran in, did the work, and ran out. If you want a dentist who will listen to you and let you ask questions and have some sort of professional relationship with you, this is not the place. The facilities are very modern and pleasant, but you pay for it because they are so very very busy and I would say, interested in making money rather than long term patient relationships.

I and my family have been patients of Dr. Henegar for over 6 years. I feel like Dr. Henegar, along with Myra, Brittany, Maria, and all the staff are like family. They really care. I have had extensive dental work done and they took very good care of me. Dr. Henegar treats all of his patients like family. I have referred a lot of co-workers and about 20 of them now see Dr. Henegar and love him and his staff. As for the cost, it is what it is. He does wonderful work, and trust me I know. I went to a lower end dentist and the results weren't so good. Dr. Henegar had to repair what the last dentist did. He is honest and trustworthy. Give him a try, you will not be dissappointed, plus he's cute.
